Welcome to Saltbush Clinic, 55 Moore St Austinmer, Dharawal country.
We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land who lived, worked and played whilst maintaining the pristine beauty of the area for thousands of years before white settlement. We would also like to acknowledge the traditional healers that have worked in the area, treating and protecting their people.
Saltbush clinic houses a small, autonomous collective of practitioners, specialising in holistic healthcare. Our aims are to deliver the best possible outcomes for every individual. We practice Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Body work, Naturopathy, Nutrition and Psychology.
Saltbush also houses non-medical practitioners who work in holistic self-care. This includes massage, facials, life coaching and energetic work.
All our practitioners are fully qualified, registered and highly skilled in their modalities.

Kate E Tracey
Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncturist

Kate is the founder of Saltbush Clinic and a nationally registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist.
Treatments with Kate include establishing causative factors through a combination of verbal inquiry and touch using traditional pulse and palpation. She then applies any combination of the Chinese Modalities including Massage, Cupping, Gua sha, Acupuncture, Moxabustion. This is accompanied with dietary and lifestyle advice as well as herbal prescriptions.
Bec Cook
Naturopath, Herbalist, Nutritionist, Doula, Reiki Practitioner and Yin Yoga Teacher
Adv Dip Naturopathy, Adv Dip Herbal Medicine
Bec believes in a gentle individualised approach to her treatment plans. With a combination of herbal medicine and an assessment of individual nutritional needs, she works with and meets her clients where they are at, helping them to make realistic, simple and easy changes to their diet and lifestyle.
Rebecca enjoys increasing her clients' own health awareness and responsibility and supporting them in achieving their health goals.
Monika Habicht
Toyohari Meridian Therapist, Japanese Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine, Doula

Monika is dedicated to the practice of Japanese style acupuncture specialising in Toyohari East Asian needle therapy and is the founder / coordinator of the Genki Centre in Glebe, Sydney.
Toyohari is generally known as a more gentle style of acupuncture and yet has profound results on clients.

Samila Blow

Samila combines comprehensive anatomical, physiological knowledge, intuition with a focused, deep touch. Her practice is a blend of myofascial release, manual therapy, therapeutic touch, craniosacral therapy and self-care exercises. Her holistic view of the body and injury patterns is supported by an ongoing education with osteopaths, craniosacral specialists and fascia experts.
Her offerings include Pregnancy Massage - throughout each trimester to increase relaxation and help to alleviate the physical changes of the body, Post-natal massage - supporting the recovery process and relieving tension from breastfeeding and C-section massage - to enhance the healing process and reduce adhesions, associated body pain and improve scar appearance.
Samila also offers Abdominal and pelvic massage - external myofascial release to rebalance the pelvic muscle and support abdominal organs as well as Jaw, neck and cranial treatments, to help with tension type headaches, migraine, neck and jaw pain.
Simone Ormsby
Acupuncturist
Honours Degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Sydney University, A Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine (acupuncture) from UTS, and a Higher Degree by Research PhD from Western Sydney University
Simone has a special interest in bridging the gap between Western science and Traditional East Asian Medicine, as well as in fertility, women’s health, obstetrics and postnatal recovery. Simone has postgraduate certificates in Manaka Protocols, Toyo Hari, and Chinese Herbal Formulae. She predominantly practices Japanese style acupuncture and Classical Chinese Medicine techniques that includes: dietary and lifestyle advice, patent herbal formulae, moxibustion, cupping, and non-insertion and inserted needling techniques.
Kaylene Minett
East Asian Medicine, Acupuncturist, Cupping, Moxabustion and Herbal Medicine
A dedicated yoga practitioner for 20 years, Kaylene draws inspiration from ancient Eastern philosophies for balanced living. In 2014 Kaylene re-trained as a practitioner of East Asian Medicine. ​With a previous career in the corporate world and busy family life, Kaylene appreciates the stresses and demands of modern day living and her treatments offer the opportunity to retreat from the chaos and reconnect with one’s self.
In addition to her private clinic, Re-Zen Oriental Medicine, Kaylene is part of a multi-disciplinary team at Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre, Campbelltown delivering allied health services to assist people affected by cancer.
Georgie Igoe
Counselling and Psychotherapy
Georgie comes to her work with creativity and an open heart; she is passionate about the relational experience and the healing that occurs within connection. Her practice as a visual artist, belief in our interdependence with the natural world and awareness of the embodied experience are central to her therapeutic approach. Her ancestral background is Celtic and she grew up on unceded Cammeraygal land, on the coastline of Sydney.
A qualified social worker and Counsellor, she has experience working with complex and intergenerational trauma as well as individual and family therapeutic work, grief, eco-therapy, creative expression and social justice. In addition to private practice, Georgie works as a group facilitator and psychotherapist with adolescents, and also continues to work with First Nations organizations co-facilitating trauma-informed workshops.
